Sony Ericsson has unveiled the T707 clamshell phone featuring unique light effects, gesture controls, and pulsating notifications for a more immersive phone experience.
The T707 lights up when a call is received and users can set personalized light settings for any caller. A 1.1-inch external OLED display notifies users of new messages and calls, and gesture controls allow users to wave their hand over the device to end an incoming call or snooze an alarm.
Pulsating notifications alert users of incoming data and the user interface changes as the day goes from afternoon into evening, completing the unique user experience.
With a 3.2 megapixel camera and Bluetooth with A2DP support for stereo headsets, the T707 takes advantage Sony Ericsson's storied multimedia functions.
T707 has support for quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) with UMTS support on the 2100MHz band and HSDPA for high-speed data connectivity. The T707a supports tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) and HSDPA data.
The Sony Ericsson T707 ships with three colored shells. Availability and pricing for the new device has not yet been announced.
